The extension integrates directly with YouTube Studio's native chat/AI system inside your browser tab, meaning all AI tasks stay securely within the official YouTube Studio ecosystem.

1. What Information We Collect

When you sign in to Creator Studio Pro AI using your Google Account, we securely request and retrieve the following user profile details:

Google Email Address: Used as your primary account identifier to manage authentication.
Google Name & Profile Image: Used to personalize the extension popup dashboard UI.
YouTube Channel ID: Used strictly to identify which YouTube channel is using the extension.

This is the only user information stored on our secure Google Firebase database.

2. Why We Collect This Data

The collected Google account profile details are utilized strictly for authentication, identity verification, and access monitoring. Managing user access requires verifying requests are coming from a legitimate, registered creator account, which secures the extension and provides a stable experience for all channels.

3. Video, Shorts, and Subtitle Processing

Creator Studio Pro AI assists in evaluating and rewriting titles, descriptions, chapters, and captions for both standard YouTube videos and YouTube Shorts.

How this text is processed:

  • It runs completely inside your active YouTube Studio browser tab.
  • The extension utilizes YouTube Studio's built-in chat interface to request and perform the AI tasks. Because of this integration, everything stays securely within the YouTube/Google AI ecosystem.
  • We **do not use or communicate with any external third-party LLM APIs** (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or external servers) to process your descriptions or subtitles.
  • We **do not store, cache, or log** your video metadata, transcript drafts, or script descriptions on our databases or logging servers.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

We use industry-standard security protocols to keep your account safe:

  • Your sign-in is managed by Google Identity Services and hosted securely on Google Firebase Authentication.
  • Your local options and sign-in tokens are secured in the local sandbox storage of your browser.
  • We retain your Google profile email and name as long as your account remains active. You can request full deletion of your profile data at any time by emailing us.
